OIL219 Oil Well Measurement Unit

Product Name

OIL219 Oil Well Measurement Unit

Model Specifications

OIL219A / OIL219B / OIL219C / OIL219D

Product Overview

The OIL219 oil-well measurement unit receives well fluids in a vessel, separates gas and liquid through cyclonic separation and gravity settling, and uses passive self-balancing for gas-liquid separation. Gas is measured by a gas flow meter; liquid is measured by mass and volumetric flow meters; and water cut is measured by a water-cut meter. It supports selective multiphase measurement for a single well or multiple wells at a metering station under different operating conditions and flow patterns.

The system provides accurate oil and water production statistics, real-time monitoring, and remote automated management. The OIL219 surface-metering solution can monitor pump-off operation and alarm-triggered shutdowns, and lets users query annual, weekly, daily, or user-selected production and water-cut data. Parameters can be transmitted remotely and shared online.

Detailed Introduction

The OIL219 uses the company’s technology for tracking the oil-water ratio and adjusting the flow-meter coefficient. It integrates four technologies:

  • Separator
  • Mass flow meter
  • Volumetric flow meter
  • Water-cut meter

The integrated mass and volumetric flow meters first measure the oil-water mixture ratio. The system then automatically calibrates the meter coefficient based on that ratio to calculate the actual flow rate.

The unit can be installed at a producing wellhead or in a metering station to collect and meter production from multiple wells. With an automatic well-selection valve manifold, it can continuously track and meter incoming fluids from multiple wells around the clock. Data sent to the measurement-and-control server makes current production readily available for each well. Historical curves show production, water cut, and oil content for up to the previous 60 days, helping managers monitor well output from an office computer.
